Grand Old Partisan spotlights the last photograph of Abraham Lincoln — probably, and excluding a photo taken at his funeral. March 6th 1865, Henry Warren took what had been described as the last photograph of the first Republican President. It shows him on a White House balcony.
In 2009, a great-great-grandson of Ulysses Grant was looking at an album that belonged to the general’s youngest son. One photograph depicts a tall man, with four other figures, at the White House. It bears Warren’s seal and on the back says: "Lincoln in front of the White House, 1865."
An expert from the National Portrait Gallery was "very satisfied that it's Lincoln. It looks to me like Lincoln's physique. I can see his hairline. I can see the shadow of his beard."

The remainder is an enthralling history lesson that I will never forget. For years, we have all been misled about the true nature of the GOP. This is the real deal! Read it and be proud!"
