Grand Old Partisan honors Casey Cagle, born in Georgia, January 12th 1966. He achieved business success with a tuxedo rental company. This entrepreneur also founded a bank.
Age twenty-eight, Cagle won the first of six terms in the state senate. In 2006, he was elected Lieutenant Governor. This made him the first Republican to hold that office. Two more terms followed. His political career came to an end with a primary election loss for Governor.
