Betty Ford on The Mary Tyler Moore Show

Grand Old Partisan highlights a highlight of television history. November 17th 1975, Betty Ford acted in a scene for The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Filming took place at the Hay-Adams Hotel, across from the White House.

While visiting Washington, Mary cannot believe that her boss had hobnobbed with President Ford and other luminaries. Mrs. Ford later telephones, but Mary still refuses to believe it.
