Grand Old Partisan campaigned in Omaha, Nebraska last weekend. Response to the door-to-door canvassing was encouragingly strong. And, Romney-Ryan signs abounded. While there, I crossed over the Missouri River to nearby Council Bluffs, Iowa for a Paul Ryan rally.
Paul Ryan attacted a big-time crowd of 1,200 people. After two Iowa legislators spoke to the enthusiatic Republicans, Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds introduced the next vice president of the United States.
"We can do this," he said. "This is within our grasp. We can get this country back on the right track.... We want to use that energy in our states and try to create jobs." In contrast to the Obama blame game, a Romney adminstration will "take on our country's challenges, instead of ducking our country's challenges."
