a Republican getting Back to Basics

Yesterday, a Republican activist from Arizona emailed me about my pro-Republican history of the GOP:

"We have a gentleman in our Republican club who is one of the biggest fans of Back to Basics for the Republican Party. He carries your book everywhere he goes and touts it and quotes it whenever and wherever he can. He tells everyone they need to read Back to Basics for the Republican Party."

Michael Zak is a popular speaker to Republican organizations around the country. Back to Basics for the Republican Party is his acclaimed history of the GOP, cited by Clarence Thomas in a Supreme Court decision. He is also the author of the 2005 Republican Freedom Calendar. His Grand Old Partisan website celebrates more than fifteen decades of Republican heroes and heroics.
